One Off Piece is an online shop, based between London and St Leonards-on-sea curating beautiful and unique objects for your home. Sourced by me, each piece is carefully chosen, and everything is something that I would have in my own home. I hope there is something that will catch your eye, be it a beautiful hand-painted bowl, showstopper vase, or the perfect pair of candlesticks to complete your table-setting.

I love finding items with a story and a past life, that will inject character and individuality into a home. In the shop, you will see that each piece is a one of a kind and is unlikely to be found here or elsewhere again. With my finger on the pulse when it comes to homeware trends, I have an eye for sourcing vintage pieces that capture the zeitgeist, whilst being authentic, distinctive, and timeless.

Not only is buying vintage the best way to pick up something truly original, it is also the most sustainable way to furnish your space. Plus, vintage items are usually made better and made to last. 

The name One Off Piece came about when a couple of years ago I bought a beautiful green marble-topped cabinet that had been cleverly transformed into a sink with the addition of a drilled and plumbed huge vintage bowl. My flummoxed family asked why I was buying a sink for a home I didn’t yet own, and an imaginary future-bathroom. My answer: “It’s a one off piece”.  I knew I’d never find the exact same piece again, and so despite not owning my own home or bathroom to put it in, I couldn’t let it pass me by! One day, I will have said beautiful sink in my own home, and it will always make me smile.
